HELLO, WE ARE HÉLÈNE & VOVA.
Duo Elova is a French-Ukrainian internationally trained aerial duo specializing in dynamic, storytelling-driven duo trapeze acts for both large-scale productions and intimate venues.
We are based between New York City & London.
Our performances are rooted in a deep connection and physical synergy, creating moments where two bodies move as one — both on stage and in the creative process.
Vova
aerial base + juggler + rigging
Vova grew up as a competitive gymnast in West Ukraine. As a graduate of the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Circus and Variety Arts, he traveled the world for over a decade as a circus performer specializing in duo aerials.
He thrives to create characters on stage, bringing nuance and storytelling to every movement. Vova also studied circus direction, making him a creative collaborator capable of shaping acts with both technical mastery and artistic vision.
Guided by presence and intuition on stage, he creates a genuine dialogue between performer and audience, blending technique, emotion, and playfulness.
Vova is also rigging for shows in arenas, stadiums and theatres.
Hélène
Aerial flyer + solo trapeze + designer
Hélène discovered trapeze at the age of seven in a small town in France, and has since turned her lifelong passion for movement and emotion into a journey of performance and expression.
Hélène brings a fresh, generous energy to the stage. She loves connecting with the audience — meeting their eyes, feeling the energy they give, and responding with what the moment calls for.
In the duo’s creative process, she brings visual and emotional coherence to Vova’s character-driven ideas, translating them into atmosphere, style, and storytelling that resonate with the audience.
Hélène also has over 12 years of experience in digital marketing and web design. She is the one in charge of making you look magical online.
